Introduction

Facebook Audience Insights gives you aggregated information about two groups of people – people connected to your Page and people on Facebook – so you can create content that resonates and easily find more people like the ones in your current audience.

MoEngage <> Facebook audience 

Using the MoEngage Audience Sync to Facebook, brands can select to add their own users’ data from their own MoEngage integration to Facebook Custom Audiences to deliver advertisements based upon behavioral triggers, segmentation, and more.

Any criteria you’d typically use to trigger a message (Push, Email, SMS, Connector, etc.) in a MoEngage campaigns based upon your user data can now be used to trigger an ad to that user in Facebook via Audiences.

  • Target high-value users via multiple channels to drive purchases/ engagement
  • Retarget users who are less responsive on other marketing channels
  • Create a suppression audiences to prevent users from receiving advertisements when they’re already loyal consumers of your brand
  • Creating Lookalike Audiences to acquire new users more efficiently

This integration gives brands an option to control what specific first-party data is shared with Facebook.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the following:

  • a Facebook Business Manager - It is a centralized tool to manage your brand’s Facebook assets (e.g., ad accounts, pages, apps).
  • a Facebook Ad Account. An active Facebook ad account should be tied to your brand’s business manager.
  • permissions to the Facebook ad accounts (your Facebook business manager admin should grant you these permissions) you plan to use with MoEngage and that you have accepted your ad account terms and conditions.
  • Accepted the Facebook’s Custom Audiences Terms for your Facebook ad account you plan to use with MoEngage.
